Managing Partner

Mike is the enthusiastic managing partner of 118Accounting.
Mike is a Chartered Accountant, and he uses his passion for technology and numbers to guide his clients to get the most out of their businesses. When Mike is not hard at work, he can be found wholeheartedly supporting Man U or wrangling the family and their three dogs on one of their long walks.
Cuan Van Der Linde

Cuan, as well as being an accountant and tax practitioner, is our Automation Pundit, he is happiest when he is helping his clients and our team streamline their processes. Cuan is a dedicated dad to two small boys and has reached expert level at putting rambunctious boys to bed!
Hamza Moola

Hamza, AKA “The Call Centre”, is the one both clients and the team turn to for answers to all the tax questions. Hamza always strives to do the best for his clients as an accountant and a tax practitioner.
When Hamza is not in the office, he enjoys the outdoor life. He also enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.

When she is not working her magic in our Ladysmith office, she can be found spending time with her family, entertaining friends, and taking time out in the mountains or at the beach.
Marlene Forbes
Senior Financial Manager

Marlene is the operations general of the team. She is happiest when she is getting stuff done. The commander of the stop watch in meetings, keep it brief or you will get counted out.
On a lighter side, Marlene has a great sense of humour (yes accountants do have them!) and is known to have had her team mates falling of their chairs with laughter with her wise cracks.

Neelam is our dynamic financial accountant based in our Ladysmith office. She is super-efficient, always organised and is armed with a broad smile.
She loves being in nature, and spending time with her fur babies. She also loves music and is an avid follower of fashion trends.
Júan Coetzee
Junior Financial Accountant
Profile
Júan, a native of Pretoria, South Africa, began his accounting journey at the University of Pretoria in 2018.
Júan’s dedication led to the development of bespoke Excel programs, including a comprehensive debtors-process tool and other innovations aimed at improving operational efficiency. His drive for leveraging technology continues to fuel his contributions to finance and automation.
